The Nevada Artists Association presents its annual “Photography Show” now through October 24.  The show, at Carson City’s Brewery Arts Center, is exhibiting the work of the regions best photographers.  NAA members and non-members were invited early on so they could shoot and prepare new pieces the for this special showing.  The judge for the exhibit was Craig Moore.    Awards were given for first, second, and third places.
A reception will be held for the photographers and artists on Saturday Sept. 6th., 6 – 8pm.  The public is invited to view the exhibit, meet the artists and partake of libations and refreshments. Located at 499 West King Street, the NAA’s BAC Gallery is open Monday through Saturday, 10am to 2pm.  Along with the photography show the Gallery is also exhibiting the paintings of NAA artists in its Late Summer Show.  Admission is free and all photography and art is for sale.

SALES: All sales will be handled by NAA who will be responsible for collecting sales tax. 25% of the sales price will be retained by the gallery.

NAA was formed in 1950 to pursue the following mission:

        • To develop and encourage the attainment and maintenance
          of a high standard of art, to promote and stimulate the
          practical expression of art and art appreciation by those
          people and groups interested in the arts in the state of Nevada.
        • To present to the public works of artists by sponsoring,
          sanctioning and promoting art exhibits.
        • To encourage the establishment of schools and classes in
          art for the citizens of the state of Nevada.
        • To create and maintain high ethical standards among artists
